description

Someone running Windows 7 says "As soon as I select the xml file, it closes with a generic windows error".

How are you supposed to run this software? I put on a shared network and I have a feeling that's not the right way of doing it.

Do the user have Visual Studio 2008/Team Explorer 2008 or later installed? Visual Studio 2008/Team Explorer 2008 or later is required.

You can get it to work off a network share but installing locally is much easier. All users’ needs to have Visual Studio 2008/Team Explorer 2008 or later installed.
My recommendation is to get a dedicated PC with at least dual monitor support. Put the PC and the monitors where you would have had you physical kanban board. It should always be on and visible for anyone going by. Visual WIP is not targeted to be a personal desktop app where every user would have their own instance of Visual WIP running on their PC. Making your work instantly visible is the goal.

We're just begining agile/kanban and initially looking to run from a team room during standups to get status. We haven't gotten to a point, yet, to have a big visual picture all the time. but we will! thanks again!
